Our Footprint,
In the Open

Most factories our size don't publish their emissions. We measure ours under the GHG Protocol — Scope 1, 2 and 3 — and publish the results, good and bad.

The target

An SBTi-aligned commitment: −37.8% Scope 1 + 2 by 2029 from the 2024 baseline — roughly 7.56% every year. Our 50.2 kW rooftop solar, now installed on the production unit, generates ~67,770 kWh a year — avoiding ~48 tCO₂e annually.

Already implemented

  • Water meters on both units + monthly leak-check program
  • IoT real-time energy monitoring system
  • Energy inventory tracked monthly, per source
  • Air compressors optimised from 8–11 bar to 6.5–8 bar (~12% energy cut)
  • Designated chemical storage with MSDS & secondary containment
  • DG exhaust stack raised above roof level for cleaner air

Who verified this

Assessed by REDEFINE Management Services under the Fairtrade De-carbonisation Program — Fairtrade India & the Centre for Social Markets, through the EU-funded SWITCH-Asia programme. Emission factors: CEA & DEFRA. Methodology: GHG Protocol & ISO 14064.
